The 38th Glass Art Society annual conference was this year held in Portland, USA, addressing the issue of “FORMING FRONTIERS”. The three Emerging Artist Lecture Awards 2008 were given to Jessica Jane Julius, Joseph Cavalieri (both USA) and Estonian glass artist Kristiina Uslar. All three made a presentation about their works in the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall of Winningstad Theatre.
