From August 27 to September 5, 2010 a retrospective exhibition of the last year’s 3rd Luxembourg Glass Symposium took place in the Tétagne cultural centre “Schungfabrik” (= Shoe factory) in the south of Luxembourg. The “Schungfabrik” is housed in the historical premises of once famous Matthias Hubert’s shoe factory.
40 glass artists from 14 countries participated in the exhibition, among them Matt Durran from Great Britain, Geraldine Duriaux from France, Alfred Collard from Belgium, Ed Van Dijk from the Netherlands, Guiliano Gaigher from Italy, Arnolds Vilbergs from Latvia and others. The exhibition was curated and designed by two Luxembourg glass artists Zaiga Baiza and Robert Emeringer. From Estonia the participants were Ivo Lill, Kairi Orgusaar, Peeter Rudaš and Mare Saare.
The 4th Luxembourg Glass Symposium is will take place in August 2011, organized by Zaiga Baiza and Robert Emeringer in Asselborn.
