The award recognizes an artist&#8217;s creative achievements in the previous 2 years.<\/p>\n<p>Ivo Lill is renowned for his cold-worked glass sculptures which, while techinically difficult and physically heavy, still retain an amazing\u00a0impression of lightness and airiness.<\/p>\n<p>Ivo&#8217;s activities in recent years include a private show <span class=\"Apple-style-span\">\u201dKlaaskuul &#8211; Cool Glass\u201d\u00a0<\/span>at the Tallinn Art Hall Gallery, and &#8220;Kontrasty&#8221; (&#8220;Contrasts&#8221;) at the Russian Museum of Applied and Ethnographic Art in Moscow.
