Fragile in its appearance, it is nurtured by the even more fragile ground that literally crumbles and eventually becomes nonexistent. Sand changing into glass and then falling back into sand again represents a continuous return, reminiscent of everything valuable being simultaneously vulnerable and delicate, yet eternal \u2013 part of fragile circuit.<\/p>\n<p>The individual process of making the objects uses sand as a technical aid, as a mold material, infinitely reusable and therefore the way of creating supports the final idea of regeneration and eternity.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mare Saare&#8217;s current series of works \u201cFragile circuit\u201d is seen to the public in the summer of 2009 at the Finnish Glass Museum in Riihim\u00e4ki.
