Artists Union of Latvia gallery
11. Novembra krastmala 35, Riga
Gallery working hours: Monday to Friday 12.00 – 17.00
The concept of the exhibition “Gloria” brings together artists working in different fields of art who have been inspired by the art of Medieval Times. However, the main idea of the exhibition is based on the desire to show what they believe is still worth to glorify in the 21st century. Middle Ages being an extensive period of human history, each artist’s output is a modern interpretation.
Preference has been given to artists who work with glass, but also painting and sculpture.
